The world super power President Elect Donald Trump has already given his victory speech after a short and decisive victory over Democrat Presidential hopeful Kamala Harris.
Trump returns to power as the 47th President of the United States of America (USA), a position he is familiar with as he was the 45th President of the country as well. In his victory speech, he vowed to make the US great again.
The President elect said America needs healing, and the first place to start in healing the nation is by strong control at the borders.
“We are going to help our country heal, we have a country that needs help, and needs help very badly; we are gonna fix our borders, we are gonna fix everything about our country,” said Donald Trump.
Trump painted his Republican party as the best in political history of the USA having managed to bring back a former President to the White House and winning back the senate. He said they overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible and now are stand victorious.
Donald Trump affirmed the Americans that he will fight day and night for the citizens of America until the country is prosperous and safe, safe for the children and everyone who lives in it. He told his supporters that his reign will be a true golden age of America.
“This is a magnificent victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again!” he said to huge applause.
Congratulatory messages from other heads of states from across the globe have started pouring in for the President elect. While others are celebrating Trumps victory, much worry has gone out into the world regarding Trump’s foreign policy. States like Ukraine wonder if they will continue to receive military support from the USA, South Africa also is worried if the AGOA trade deal will be renewed as it is due for review in 2025, since they are on opposite sides of the Russia-Ukraine war.
This is despite South Africa insisting on taking a non-alliance stance on the war and America at some point dared South Africa to pick a side. The two countries once again find themselves on opposing sides, as America supports Israel and South Africa stands with Gaza.
Trump said, regarding his foreign policy and border control, his government will be strict on border control and immigration, but he will let people come into the country but they must come in legally.
