By The PSL Executive Committee has announced Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban as the venue to host the MTN8 final on Saturday, 5 October 2024, between Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.
Five provinces submitted their proposal for the hosting rights for 2024/25 MTN8 finals including Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and KwaZulu Natal. The Executive Committee explained that, after considering the sponsor’s input on who should host the finals, the hosting right were awarded to KZN province.
The PSL Executive Committee said further details regarding kick-off time, ticketing, and other logistical arrangements will be announced by the PSL in due course.
The official home-and-away draw for the final will be conducted on Monday, 16 September 2024 on the popular TV sports show, Extra-Time, LIVE on SuperSport PSL Channel (202) at 20h30.
