Though it is expected to be tough game against the host nation South Sudan, Bafana Bafana Coach Hugo Broos says he is confident going into the game and that they have prepared enough for the 2025 AFCON qualifier match.
Broos acknowledge that he does not expect Sudan to be a walk in the park. They face the team after the team’s confidence took a knock when they drew 2-2 with Ghana at Orlando Stadium.
Bafana Bafana will have to bring their A game to past through the tough side in the hostile heat of the country. The National team was quick to hit the field in preparation for the upcoming game.
On Monday, Broos gave an update on the readiness of the team during press briefing.
“We know that South Sudan is an aggressive team, and I don’t mean in a negative manner, and they are very dedicated. Also, the match will be played on a synthetic pitch, and it will not be easy. So, I expect a very difficult game tomorrow,” Broos said.
The game will kick off at 3pm South African time at the Juba National Stadium today, Tuesday, 10 September 2024.
