Brazilians remain unbeaten

Mamelodi Sundowns sealed another win on Tuesday night against Sekhukhune United at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in the DSTV PSL game. The Brazilians has by far won 17 games and only drew in five games.

Masandawana started the match on high note making their intentions clear. Capitalising from a loose ball in the box of Sekhukhune united, Tashreeq Matthews scored the opener for Sundowns in the first minute of the game.

Sekhukhune United responded quickly in search of an equaliser, with great runs and passes just outside the box of the Brazilians, they were unfortunate for the ball to go wide. However, Sundowns wanted to prove that it is the better team on the pitch; Thapelo Morena scored the second goal on the 7th minute of the game.

Sekhukhune pushed backed but ran out of time in the first half; the teams went to break with Sundowns leading 2-0.

In the second, after receiving instructions from their coach, Sekhukhune relentlessly fought back by putting pressure on Sundowns forcing them to commit an error. That paid off as they were awarded a penalty and Chibuike Ohizu converted successfully on the 50th minute.

The game ended Sundowns 2-1 Sekhukhune United.

Mamelodi Sundowns is sitting comfortably at the top of the log with 56 points, while Sekhukhune United is fourth on the log with 39 points.
