Mangaung drives economic growth at Bloem Show

Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality (MMM) joined the fun action at the annual Bloem Show in Bloemfontein, not just to have fun but to empower local entrepreneurs and promoting its services to the people of Mangaung.

As part of growing the local economy, the City provided opportunities for local small businesses and entrepreneurs alike to show case their products to public at the show. The municipality also took the opportunity to inform the citizens about the services the municipality is offering.

According to the Acting General Manager of Communications for the Metro Ms Nicolette Maysiels, municipal officials worked side by side at the 2026 Bloem Show to deliver the services to reach community members at the show.

She said the powerful collaboration of service delivery driven departments was more than just participation, it was about driving local economic growth and empowering small businesses and empowering communities with knowledge on municipal services and how to access them, in an effort to build stronger communities together.

“From innovation and entrepreneurship, assistance with housing, information on payment of services and indigent application, importance of Fire and Rescue services, Mangaung Metro continues to shine and showcase the true spirit of resilience and opportunity.

This was a partnership that created impact and endeavoured to open doors for solutions to MMM communities,” said Maysiels.
