Siwelele FC has confirmed that they are at advanced talks regarding their star player Siviwe Magidigidi with Belgian based Football club Koninklijke Beerschot Voetbalclub Antwerpen.
According to the Bloemfontein based club, the first division B side club, K. Beerschot V. A, first approached Siwelele late last year to make an offer on Magidigidi, however, the offer was not right or did not reflect the value of the attacker and his potential impact he still has to make.

The CEO of the club Ms Lerato Kholoanyane says, due to on-going conversations with Beerschot, it became clear that Siviwe Magidigidi was eager to test himself internationally and embrace a new chapter abroad.
“We have always believed in matching ambition with opportunity. When Beerschot significantly improved their offer, more than doubling their initial one, the deal became acceptable and aligned with the best interests of Siwelele FC.
While the transfer is not yet final, we are now in the process of concluding negotiations.
We fully appreciate the fans Magidigidi has earned among the Siwelele faithful, and we acknowledge the emotional connection many feel. Regardless of the outcome, he will forever be part of our story. He has been a foundational player in our maiden campaign and a young man who helped set our standards both on the field and in the dressing room,” said Kholoanyane.
“At only 20 years old, Magididigi’s potential is enormous. We have no doubt that Belgian defenders will soon be experiencing exactly the kind of trouble he caused across the PSL. We are proud of him, we are grateful to him, and we look forward to watching his journey unfold.
If this move is concluded, he will carry Siwelele’s spirit with him, and he will always have a home in Bloemfontein,” he concluded.
