Proteas through to T20 World Cup finals

The Proteas have become the pride of the nation at the hills of the Bokke who won the Rugby World Cup. Similarly, the Proteas crushed Afghanistan by nine wickets and made it to the T20 World Cup finals.

For the first time the South African men’s squad will compete in the T20 World Cup and are likely to face off with the unbeaten India side.

The Proteas cruised past the Afghanistan team reaching 60/1 while the opponents were trailing 56 at the Trinidad’s Brian Lara Stadium on Wednesday. The spectacular play by the Proteas showed determination to win the game and to push through to the finals.

India will go up against England on Thursday at 16: 30 South African time. The winner will go up against South Africa on Saturday, 29 June 2024, at 16: 30.
