Five South African legends were inducted into the South African Gallery of Legends in Pretoria last week Thursday, 7 November 2024, where the Free State MEC for Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation Ms Ntombizanele Sefuba formed part of the memorable prestigious gala dinner.
Numerous legends in the arts and culture sector came under one roof to witness the induction and celebrate the five legends, the prestigious ceremony was oozing with the energy of the international giants who have made their mark in this life and have created a legacy that will continue way after their passing.
In the room were soccer legend Edward ‘Magents’ Motale and many other who made South Africa a country of choice through their unique immense talents.
The Free State MEC Sefuba also had the honour to pay tribute and hand out a certificate of induction award to the legendary Dr Lillian Dube. Dube is one of the legends who have made an immense contribution towards the entertainment industry over the years, and her influence has inspired many.
Amongst the legends who were inducted were Dr John Kani, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbuli, Lydia Mokgokolosi and Dr Lillian Dube.
MEC Ntombizanele Sefuba has since congratulated the legends.
