The Democratic Alliance (DA) suffered a blow on Wednesday, 21 February 2024, after the Gauteng High Court dismissed their case to declare ANC cadre deployment unconstitutional with costs.
The DA says it will not give up on this battle to hold the governing party to account for interfering with the appointments of officials in government with the intent to capture institutions including the judiciary to work in their favour.
The opposition party says, the ANC failed to draw a distinction between party and state, their fingers are all over government; as such, they have instructed their lawyers to appeal the judgement and pointed out that, with the cadre deployment records in their possession, they have a strong case as the records show irregularities.
The DA says it is an ANC antidote, to get rid of corruption and cadre deployment, the masses should vote DA into power on the 29 May 2024.
