Chiefs play to a disappointing end

Stellenbosch FC walked away with three points last night after beating Kaizer Chiefs 1- 0 at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.

Fans of the Glamor Boys remain frustrated as their beloved team keeps on disappointing them. In the first half of the match, the Stellies dominated the match running at Amakhosi and created numerous opportunities. Stellenbosch was finally rewarded on the 46th minute just before break with Devin Titus scoring the only goal of the match.

In the second half, Kaizer Chiefs showed more character and found their footing, the Glamor Boys were determined to find an equalizer or even go beyond and win the match, they created a number of threatening opportunities but it was not meant to be. The referee blew the last whistle of the match and Stellenbosch walked away with maximum points.

Stellenbosch is second on the DSTV PSL table behind Mamelodi Sundowns with 38 points. Kaizer Chiefs is number seven on the log with 30 points.
