Bokke suffer second defeat by Ireland

The Springboks suffered the one of the most painful defeat from Ireland by just one point on home ground in Durban at a packed stadium with fans cheering the Bokke on.

It was no mystery that the match was going to be tough physical one. Ireland made their intention clear from the onset creating opportunities which put to them in the lead by half time, leading by 10 points.

The Springboks were trailing behind but showed themselves a force.

The Boks closed the gap in the second half giving Ireland a run for its money, reminding them that they are world champions. In the dying moments of the game, Ireland, with a devastating drop kick beat South Africa for the second time by one point.

The match ended with Ireland leading 25-24.
