AmaZulu not a walk in the park

Despite crushing Arrows 7 -1, Orlando Pirates Coach Jose Riviero says playing against AmaZulu in the Nedbank Cup quarter-finals is not going to be a walk in the park.

The Sea Robbers have had a major morale boost ahead of their Nedbank Cup match when they cruised past Arrows scoring seven of the eight goals in that match. Riviero says he respects AmaZulu as they are a good team.

“AmaZulu is a team that we do respect a lot; its experienced players have proved many times that they are excellent players with a good level of competitiveness. On an away game, there are all the conditions to make us understand that it not going to be a walk in a park for us,” said Riviero.

The told the media during the media briefing that at this stage of the tournament, teams want to see themselves in the finals and they will bring their best performance. The competition will be fierce as all teams involved will want to lift the trophy at the end of it all.

He said the Buccaneers are however ready to take on AmaZulu and can’t wait for kick-off time.

The match will take place at Moses Mabida Stadium on Saturday at 18: 00.
