By The past weekend witnessed all three big teams walking away with single points, including Kaizer Chiefs playing a goalless draw with Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday, 18 February 2024.
Kaizer Chiefs kick started the game, but it was Royal AM that turned on the pressure on Amakhosi, in the 17th minute, Royal AM had a threatening shot at goal, but the keeper had it covered. It took a while for the glamour boys to find their footing; on the 26th minute, Du Preez had a one on one opportunity with Royal AM keeper, he chipped the ball over the goalkeeper came out from his line but it went just wide.
Both teams created more scoring opportunities but could not find the net. The teams went to break goalless.
In the second half, it was clear that Chiefs wanted a goal, Du Preez used his pace, blasting past the defense and taking shots but, all was futile. Amakhosi added pressure but could not convert their opportunities into goals. The match ended 0-0 for both sides.
