The Secretary General of the African National Congress (ANC) Cde Fikile Mbalula, called on the masses of the nation to one day take to the streets in protest against America; he said the people of South Africa must fight against imperialist aggression.
Tensions between the United States of America (USA) and South Africa have been mounting since President Donald Trump took office. South Africa has been slapped with punitive tariff increases, the US boycotted the G20 hosted by South Africa as its president, on the latest, Trump has barred South Africa from attending the G20 in the US and has recently dictated to South Africa not to include Iran in the military drill in Cape Town.

Speaking during the January 8 statement in the Free State on Saturday, Mbalula said South Africa must team up with its other alliances to resist the imperial aggression. He told the masses that the delinquent from America, Donald Trump is creating a mess and he has never seen such a delinquent before.
“He has attacked us here in South Africa. We need to go out in our numbers one of the days to show that we will never allow America to control our country, because we do not have two passports, you will never go out of here running to Zimbabwe, this is your home, you have nowhere to run to; Zimbabweans run from their country to South Africa, where will we go?
We need to fight and defend South Africa for our sovereignty, fight to protect our country because we are attacked by a delinquent. The ANC working with its allies, its youth and women organisations, we must go out into the street to demonstrate that we are fighting for our country,” said the Secretary General to affirming applauses.
The ANC recently called out Donald Trump and his administration for invading Venezuela and abducting its President Nicolás Maduro saying the act undermines the UN Charter and that they are in violation of International Law; this further plunged South Africa onto America’s enemy list.
