Mphapang explained that the affected units of the department include, Supply Chain Management and Biodiversity Management (permit office/problem animal control and law enforcement).

He said in the meantime, the department has put in place several measures to ensure business continuity. Members of the public and clients who require PH Exams, manual permit application, hunting registers, including J 534 fines, etc. are advised to contact the following officials:

Ms Nomasomi Tshingo on 066 487 2786

“The public is reminded that the ePermit (online) system can also be accessed from the departmental website. Therefore, the public is encouraged to use this platform for all biodiversity permits needs,” encouraged Mojalefa Mphapang.

He said Supply Chain Management Services can also be accessed by contacting the following roaming number; 082 695 5851, and walk-ins can report to the security desk to be re-directed to the relevant floor for service.
