Banyana confident to win against Nigeria

Though Banyana Banyana suffered a loss in Abuja, Nigeria in their first leg match against Nigeria for the CAF Women’s Olympics qualifier, the team remains confident that they will make it to Paris.

Tonight’s match against Nigeria is a do or die game, this match will determine who will jet off to Paris for the 2024 Olympics. The African Champions says the home ground advantage will allow them to play the kind of game they know. The ladies are intending to bring their best performance to pass through the Nigerian team.

The Coach, Desire Ellis told the media that she is looking forward to the game because she knowns that they are better than what they displayed in Abuja, she says they are better than that and this match is a match they have to win.

All the players know what is at stake with this match, and the senior team will be looking for an early goal that will put them ahead and give them leverage against their opponents.

The game also is special as Banyana Banyana defender Lebohang Ramalepe will get her 100th cap should she make an appearance.
