Trump takes over Venezuela’s oil

Following the abduction of Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores de Maduro by the United States of America, President Donald Trump has announced on his social media account that he has taken over the oil of the country.

In direct violation of the United Nations Charter, the US invaded Venezuela under what some analysts term as ‘false pretence’ to arrest Maduro for Narco terrorism, where else the agenda of the US was always the oil of Venezuela.

Following the abduction of Maduro, Delcy Rodríguez, the Minister for oil and Vice President of Venezuela was officially sworn into office as the Acting President on Monday, 5 January 2026. However, Trump wasted no time in telling her to toe the line or face the consequences.

In his social media page, Trump comfortably announced that the interim leadership of Venezuela will hand over its oil to the US, about 30 to 50 million barrels of high quality of sanctioned oil.

In his announcement, Trump says the financial spin-offs from the oil will both benefit the US and Venezuela. It suggests that Venezuela will have no say on its oil as Trump will be controlling the money from the oil, which will be sold at market value.

He outlined how the oil will be moved from Venezuela to America, through storage ships. Donald Trump boldly revealed that he has asked his Secretary for Energy Chris Write to execute this plan with immediate effect.

The announcement suggests that Venezuela is now under the total control of the United States, well, at least its oil and that its Acting President Rodríguez is now subject to the Trump admiration. It seems that the American Empire has successfully extended its territory over Venezuela with ease, with the confidence that no authority in the globe will stand against the US to hold them accountable.
